More Questions Than Answers

The question of the day is "WHY". That seems to be it. Why should I publish another herb book? People don't really want one. They want to go to the drug store and look through all the bottles until one tells them that this will help arthritis or knee pain. They don't care if it isn't going to fix the problem; they just want the problem elevated for the time being. Maybe they will go a step further and go to a health food store and buy a bottle that says arthritis relief thinking that it is an herbal combination when in fact it is herbs combined with chemicals.

Why? Why would I write a book telling them about different plants when they can ask their neighbor what worked for them? People do not want healing. For most of them they don't think that it is possible to heal anything unless the medical profession gets involved in killing the bacteria, virus, fungus or parasite with chemicals.

No one wants to take the time to find out either what plants would be helpful or how to do this.

Last week I heard about a lady who is having a hip replacement next month. So for a month she is going to take pain killers and then after her surgery she will be cured. She does not know that once that body has been invaded, the discomfort will be with her for the rest of her life. If she would read my article on Slippery Elm, a few things might change. One; it might be possible to help the body rebuild the area the way it was originally and two: she has no business walking around on a bad hip or one that is bad enough to warrant replacement. Does she care? NO!

My sister did this same thing. She told me that the Doctor's would fix her. After the doctors gave up on her, then she thought that she would try herbs? Too little, too late! She died in 2005.

People are so busy that they can't take the time to find out things for themselves. Let someone else do it.

When was the last time you allowed the world in? Well, I had better clarify that. We have so much "noise" around us all the time that we couldn't hear a plant if it was screaming at us and they do! When was the last time that you sat on the grass and just listened to the world around you? What did you hear? (I'm sorry, I forgot that you can sit on your lawn because of all the chemicals that you have sprayed on it)

Have you ever heard a plant cry? Have you ever heard a tree sigh? Most of us are too busy or our world is too loud. We wouldn't even need herb books if we could walk up to plants and listen to what they could do for us. They might not know what chemicals they contain, just as we don't know what our blood pressure reading is at any one time but they know if they can help and will be more than willing to assist us.

I believe that there was a time when God's creation told people what they could do. The books say that we learned about herbs from watching animals and seeing what they ate or used. That isn't my belief. There was a time when most people could commune with nature. Now very few do.

My son told me that I should write a book about what plants were edible, sort of a survival book because most people don't know what they can eat and what they can't. Would that do any good? Do most people know a Purslane from a Plantain in their yards? So Survival will depend on finding a way to talk to the plants.

How do we go about doing that? The plant world has given up on us for the most part. "People just want to cut, mow or kills us with sprays. Even their domesticated animals don't hear us anymore." I have a lot of friends who tell me that they can't have a house plant or it dies.

What kind of energy is coming from a person like that? I often wonder if they kill fish and kittens too.

I have seen people who get a kitten and then due to the anger in the human, the kitten grows up to be a really angry cat. I even took care of a cat like that. He hated everyone. I took him in for a year while his owner was relocating. I was the only person that he wouldn't tear apart. He hated everyone but tolerated me. I felt so sorry for that little being.

How about the dogs that are treated badly and then have to be "put down" because they have become "bad dogs." Just writing about this hurts me so much. These animals are not bad, they just take on the personality of their owners. I have read where this is helpful for the humans that own them or the humans would be sicker than anything if their animals didn't dissipate some of that anger. What a job those little beings took on to help humans.

So these people will never be able to communicate with the subtle energy of a plant or plants.

It is the plant angels that are best at interfacing with humans. They are Devas or Beings of Light. We all have angels around us and so do plants. By relaxing around plants and trying to fit into their world, Devas will assist you with information that might be helpful. Most people call this meditating but that is an eastern concept that we have adopted. When we relax and allow our brains to resonate on a different level than our day to day pace, we have moved into the area that subtle beings are able to communicate with us.

At first you might find that they are surprised to find that you even want too. Most humans don't want to be bothered. Their next thing is to play games with you. They like to have fun but no matter what is happening, they do want to help.

I think sometimes that this planet will shift to the point where only the people who get back to listening to it will survive. Does that mean just me? NO, there are a lot of people who are capable of listening but for some reason they didn't like all the distractions of the world so they run around with ear plugs in, listening to some music that they want to hear. My feeling is that a lot of young people can do this. This is my hope for the world.

We have so much input these days. Would it be bad if we ran out of petroleum? If our machines couldn't work and we had to go back to the beginning? Most of us would say, "Yes, it would be bad? " We like it this way with cars and trucks, trains and planes, lawnmowers, and skill saws and all the other machines that make racket. I live in a rather quiet neighborhood and it is still noisy with human noises.

The best time to talk to the Devas is after dark, (when humans have gone in to their dwellings) and in the wintertime (When repair work can't be done and lawns can't be mowed.)

I love snow because the Devas have tucked in most of the plants for the "long winter's night" and are available to talk. What have I learned from them? They want to co-create with humans. They want to help us create what we want. If we don't have any ideas, they will fill in with other things that we might call "weeds". If you’re an herbalist, you know that there aren't such things as weeds, only plants that are in the wrong place. As I have mentioned in other places, my best friends are on the Ortho list at Sears to be killed with this or that Ortho product.

Will people ever learn how to do this? Does anyone really want to? So that brings me back to my original question, Why write an herbal book?
